Multiple Award Winning Broadcast Journalist, Serwaa Amihere has finally broken her silence over her Henry Fitz Saga.
In a post on social media platforms, Serwaa Amihere rendered an unqualified apology to her family, friends, and employers for embarrassing them.
According to Serwaa Amihere, the intimate viral video that was shared via various social media platforms was recorded five years ago.
Serwaa further revealed in the statement that the intimate video was released 5 months after she had received threats and tried her best to pay off her blackmailers.
Serwaa who is ashamed about the turn of events added that the video has exposed her employers, businesses, and brands she represents to embarrassment, adding that it has been a source of frustration to all who have been her support and inspiration in her career.
She also hammered on the fact that she didn’t know the extent of her influence when she made that video five years ago.
“At the time, 5 years ago, I considerably underestimated the extent of my influence, my potential, what I would become, and what I would come to represent to this society.
“Sincerely, I say sorry for the embarrassment, disappointment, and frustration which this matter has caused to my family and loved ones, to the distinguished businesses and brands I represent, and to you”. Part of her statement read.
Recall that a few weeks ago, a video of Serwaa Amihere getting intimate with Ghanaian businessman, Henry Fitz went viral.
The video has since sparked a lot of controversy. While many people failed to believe she was the one in the video, it was clear she was the one in the video.
After the video went viral, Henry Fitz started spilling secrets about how he slept with Serwaa Amihere a night after his wedding.
He went ahead to narrate how Serwaa Amihere was an MC at her wedding yet upon the request of his wife.
But she found an opportunity to make money and he allegedly paid her GHC2500 daily.
After the back and forth about the issue, Serwaa Amihere has finally admitted to the offense.
