According to a report by the President of Actors Guild in Nigeria, Nollywood actor Junior Pope is alive and receiving treatment at the hospital.
The National President of Actors Guild of Nigeria, Emeka Rollas Ejezie disclosed in an Instagram post few hours after the earlier reports about Pope’s death that the actor “is alive and taking treatment in the hospital.”
Pope was reported dead on Wednesday [April 10] afternoon after a boat he was travelling in capsized while returning from a movie location in Anambra State.
Reports are now rife that the actor is not dead and currently receiving treatment at the hospital while being placed on oxygen.
Several videos circulating online shows that the actor is alive and all parties involved are doing everything within their power to keep him alive.
