Angry social media users have dragged newly appointed assistant coach of the Ghana Black Stars, John Panstil, after he sued several sports journalists and media houses for defamation.
Panstil has dragged media houses Multimedia, Omni Media (Citi FM), and Angel Broadcasting as well as journalists Countryman Songo, Saddick Adams, Christopher Nimley and Veronica Commey to court for libel and defamation.
Panstil is unhappy over comments passed about him in regards to his decision to oppose the Save Ghana Football Demo.
The former right back was heavily dragged a few weeks ago after he was appointed an assistant coach of the Black Stars and everyone saw the reason why he claimed Ghana football was in good shape was because he was in the good graces of the powers that be.
Panstil apparently could not withstand that criticism and has decided to go to court.
Numerous reactions trailed his action but one poignant one read: “All I can say is John paintsil is a coward,”
Simple, and well put.
