Disgraced former President of the Ghana Football Association, Kwesi Nyantakyi, has expressed his willingness to contest for the upcoming Ejisu by-election on the ticket of the NPP.
Nyantakyi, according to reports, is getting ready to file his paperwork to contest on the ticket of the NPP.
The Member of Parliament for the area, John Kumah, passed away recently, necessitating a by-election to be held in the area.
Currently, the NPP are yet to choose their candidate although some reports have claimed Kumah’s widow might be given the position.
However, Nyantakyi has thrown his hat into the ring, saying if the NPP elders give him the nod he is ready to represent the party in Parliament.
Kwesi Nyantankyi was arguably the most successful GFA President in Ghanaain history until his reign was brought down following an exposé by ace investigative journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas.
