In a collaboration aimed at celebrating culture in diversity, The Taste Of Afrika and National Commission on Culture have initialed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to facilitate the collaborative efforts between the parties to ensure that, Cultural Oneness Festival is carried out smoothly and seamlessly as well as ensuring that parties involved achieve their collective goals and objectives.
The signing ceremony, held on Tuesday, 26th March, 2024, at the general office of National Commission on Culture, Accra Ghana, marks the initiation of a cultural transformative venture set to unfold over the next five years.
With the potential for renewal, this partnership promises to deepen and promote Cultural Oneness Festival while embracing its diversity to promote national development in 2024 and beyond.
Speaking at the event, Nana Otuo Owoahene Acheampong, Executive Director of National Commission on Culture, emphasized the pivotal role of his outfit in driving the needed apparatus to see the success of the upcoming biggest cultural event in the Northern Ghana, Cultural Oneness Festival, slated for November 13-16, 2024.
Tengol K. Kplemani, Chief Executive Director of The Taste Of Afrika, lauded National Commission on Culture readiness and commitment towards the growth and development of the Northern Ghanaian culture.
“With steadfast commitment from both parties, this collaboration heralds a new era of cross-cultural exchange poised to shape the future of Cultural Oneness Festival in Ghana and beyond”, he stated.
As a reminder, Cultural Oneness Festival organized by The taste Of Afrika celebrates and showcases the rich cultures of the country’s diverse communities in the Northern sector. This year’s Cultural Oneness Festival has been scheduled to take place at Tamale in the Northern Region from November 13 -16, 2024 on the theme, “Leveraging on our Strength for Shared Growth and Prosperity as One People.”
