Ghanaians were left in shock at the sudden death of John Kumah, the Deputy Finance Minister and Member of Parliament for Ejisu. He died in the early hours of Thursday, March 7, after a brief illness. He died at the age of 45.
According to a report from the Kumah Family, John Kumah’s health became critical while on their way to Accra in an ambulance from Kumasi. They were forced to divert to the Suhum Government Hospital where he was declared dead.
He left behind a wife and six children. After his death, a lot of audio and videos have popped up online where Captain Smart was heard alleging that some people in NPP had poisoned John Kumah leading to his untimely death.
This revelation forced the widow of John Kumah to report the matter to the police.
She filed a complaint at the Accra Central Divisional Headquarters of the Ghana Police Service on Friday, March 8, 2024.
