In the BBC documentary about the late Prophet TB Joshua, which caused a public uproar, Shasha Marley has said the reports are all false.
He argues that reports of sexual abuse are blatantly false since no American or European woman could be defiled in that way, and the victim would not come out with the knowledge until years after the accuser passed away.
He insisted that the accuser would have submitted the allegations to the police so that the man of God could deal with them if they were genuine against TB Joshua.
Shasha Marley said in an interview with Blakk Rasta on 3FM that the BBC documentary seeks to defame the late TB Joshua’s church and damage his legacy.
“I don’t believe there is an iota of truth in that documentary. I’ve met people of all races and all classes. Look, Americans, Europeans and British are not like us Africans in the sense that they have a high level of confidence. One cannot sexually abuse an American lady, force her into sex and she would be quiet about it for two days, no way.
“I’m yet to meet an European or a British lady who has been sexually abused and she’s quiet about it, walking around leisurely. The man lives inside the church with his wife and children. So if he sexually abused you, report it to his wife or the police. American women will not be quiet for 20 years about this,” he said.
