Self-acclaimed Queen of Comedy, Afia Schwarzenegger has opened up on how she tricked a friend into believing she was staying at a hotel in Aburi when she was on the run from getting jailed.
Recall that sometime last year, Afia Schwarzenegger was sued for contempt by NPP’s Ashanti Regional Chairman, Bernard Antwi Boasiako, popularly known as Chairman Wontumi.
She lost the case and received a 10-day jail sentence. The court then issued a bench warrant for her arrest.
But Afia escaped from Accra to avoid getting arrested.
Her sworn enemy, Nana Tonardo, announced a Ghc 5,000 bounty placed on her head after a meeting with Chairman Wontumi.
It was later alleged that Afia was hiding at a hotel in Aburi.
Anyway, opening up about the issue in a self-recorded video, Afia explained that she was hiding at her mother’s house in Kumasi because of some surgical procedures she had undergone.
According to Afia, a very close friend of hers called her to find out where she was. As smart as she was, she lied to her friend that she was hiding in a small hotel in Aburi.
As soon as she relayed this information to her friend which many believed to be Diamond Appiah, it was all over the news that Afia Schwarzenegger was hiding in Aburi.
She added that this made her cut all ties with her friend because she realized she couldn’t be trusted.
