Temi Otedola, one of the daughters of Nigerian billionaire Femi Otedola, has denied claims that her mother, Nana, is a Ghanaian.
A common myth in the public domain is that Nana Otedola, the matriarch of the Otedolas, is a Ghanaian.
No one knows where the myth comes from, but it likely started because she is named Nana.

In a new video, Temi alongside her mother have come out to debunk the claim.
According to Nana Otedola, she is a full-blooded Nigerian with roots in Abeokuta in Ogun State and Kaduna in Kaduna State.
She revealed that she has the name Nana because her mother named her after a prominent figure and not due to any attachment to Ghana.
