Sonnie Badu has opened up on how he didn’t get sponsorship for his recent concert.
Speaking in a recent interview, Sonnie Badu explained that even though they used more than 5 months to plan the event, they still faced some challenges.
According to him, most of the people his team had approached for sponsorship didn’t come through. As a result, he was forced to sell his expensive Rolex watch to fund the event.
The Multiple Award-winning Gospel artist also opened up on why he didn’t marry a Ghanaian lady.

Sonnie Badu revealed that he has dated more Jamaican women in his lifetime than Ghanaian women.
He explained that he never dated Ghanaian women for long because he didn’t fancy dating them.
Sonnie added that he dated a lot of Jamaican women and even told his wife that if he hadn’t married her, he would have married a white woman.
When asked why he didn’t marry his fellow Ghanaian, Sonnie explained that it was his destiny to marry a foreigner.
