Ghanaians Rally Behind Afua Asantewaa As She Gets Ready To Break A Guinness World Record In A Singa-Thon

Ghana’s songstress, Afua Asantewaa is set to make Ghana proud by breaking the Guinness World Record for the longest Singing Marathon.

The record is currently held Sunil Waghmare in India who sang for 105 hours.
Afua Asantewaa Aduonum is leaving no stone unturned as she is determined to break the Guinness record this December.

She is expected to sing for over 117hours or more to break the current world record which stands at 105 hours and happened in 2012.

According to the rules, Afua must not repeat songs and each song will not be more or less than 2mins. This means she’s going to sing over 3,200 Ghanaian songs to be able to break the record.

This attempt is strictly for Ghanaian songs. Afua is also using the opportunity to promote Ghanaian music, from Gospel to High Life to Hip Life to Azonto to Afrobeats and etc.
