Gospel singer Diana Asamoah has been taken to the cleaners by angry netizens after tagging Ghanaian youth as ‘lazy’.
Asamoah in an interview claimed that the NPP government has done a lot of good work in creating jobs but lazy Ghanaian youth are the ones who have failed to take advantage of the jobs.
She said instead of working hard to earn an income, lazy Ghanaian youth are looking for a shortcut to wealth and complain when they don’t find it.
“People finish school today and want to own a Range Rover. This is worrying and the reason why people are struggling. They do not want to follow the process and build themselves up over time,” she said.
Asamoah added: “For now, people do not even want to be apprentices and learn the rudiments of the job. They want to make it in life without having to work.
“There is a lot of work in Ghana currently but because people are not cut for it, that is why they are complaining of hardship,”
Her coments completely unleashed a torrent of abuse on her head.
“Wapantan s3 yomo adaka,how much did they pay you?,” one netizen wrote.
Another fired: “Ghana de3, obi a na no so biara ka nkwasiasem 😂😂😂w’ano s3 latitude!!!,”
