Ghanaian actress, Akuapem Poloo has dished out a piece of advice to Ghanaian politicians who are fond of taking advantage of Abena Korkor.

Speaking to Fiifi Pratt in a recent interview, Akuampem Poloo revealed that she doesn’t know why these so-called politicians keep using Abena Korkor when they know full well that she is mentally unstable.

Abena Korkor revealed a few years ago that she was diagnosed with Bipolar disorder and this condition makes her behave abnormally sometimes.

For the sake of education purposes, Bipolar disorder is disorder associated with episodes of mood swings ranging from depressive lows to manic highs. The exact cause of bipolar disorder isn’t known, but a combination of genetics, environment and altered brain structure and chemistry may play a role.

Manic episodes may include symptoms such as high energy, reduced need for sleep, and loss of touch with reality. Depressive episodes may include symptoms such as low energy, low motivation, and loss of interest in daily activities. Mood episodes last days to months at a time and may also be associated with suicidal thoughts.

Anyway, despite knowing her condition, these so-called “big men” in society keep sleeping with Abena Korkor and whenever she has one of her episodes, she ends up exposing them.

Akuapem Poloo has therefore advised them to treat Abena Korkor with respect so that she stops exposing

them.
