The sister of late Black Stars footballer, Raphael Dwamena, collapsed on live tv out of excessive grief during an interview on Onua TV.
Dwamena’s sister, Yvonne, had to be rushed out of the studio for treatment after she lost consciousness.
The former Stars forward collapsed and died during a match due to his heart condition and his family was interviewed by Captain Smart on Onua TV’s Maakye.
Dwamena’s mother and his younger sister were in-studio for the interview.
Displaying extreme grief, the duo spoke about their final interactions with Raphael the week before his death.
According to his sister, she spoke to him on Thursday before his game Saturday and wished him well.
His mother also said she spoke to him on the same day and even prayed with him.
Both said they didn’t speak to him on Friday because the day before a game they allow him to get his rest.
Dwamena’s sister said on Saturday, her mom called her and asked her to check social media because she had heard bad news about Dwamena.
Whilst narrating all this, a point came when she could no longer go on and they cut from the studio to present her with medical attention.
