The New Patriotic Party (NPP) allegedly offered Assin Central Member of Parliament, Kennedy Agyapong, $800 million to step down from the upcoming Presidential primary elections.
That’s according to Agyapong himself, who made the revelation during a recent radio appearance.
According to the firebrand politician, the party has been trying for a long time to get him to step out of the race for their anointed son, Bawumia to take over from Nana Akufo-Addo.

Agyapong claims one NPP elder whose name he divulged offered him $800m to step down from the race but he refused out of love for Ghana and his supporters.
Agyapong said he would accept the results of the November 4 elections if he loses fairly and squarely.
However, he promised the NPP the worst showdown of all time if his officials are attacked and intimated like happened during the first round elections.
He said if that happened, he would be a worse nightmare to the NPP than Alan Cash ever dreamed of being!
