I Love God and I Love Jesus But I Hate Religion Because It Divides – Okyeame Kwame

Ghanaian rapper, Okyeame Kwame has explained exactly why he hates religion and has completely stopped attending church.

According to him, he has realised that religion spreads nothing but hate hence it’s not for him.

Okyeame Kwame revealed this during an interview in which he gave the entire back story of why he had to marry his wife without either of their parent’s consent.

According to him, being a Methodist and his wife being Jehovah’s Witness, they had difficulties securing the blessing of their parents for them to get married.

Realising that they would never get the blessing they needed, they went ahead to plan to get married and invited their parents to attend or not as they saw fit.

According to Okyeame Kwame, that taught him about religion being interested in nothing but dividing people and not bringing them together as Jesus taught.

The rapper said he therefore follows the teachings of Jesus which preaches love but he has no business with religion.
