Britney Spears Reveals How She Had An Abortion For Justin Timberlake Who Didn’t Want To Be A Father

In her shocking new memoir, Britney Spears admits that she had an abortion while dating Justin Timberlake.

In “The Woman in Me,” which goes on sale on October 24, the Princess of Pop reveals that her pregnancy was “a surprise” rather than “a tragedy.”

“I loved Justin dearly. I’ve always thought that one day we’ll have a family. This would just be considerably earlier than I’d planned,” the author states in a People Tuesday extract.

However, Justin was undoubtedly unhappy about becoming pregnant. He claimed we were far too young and not ready to have a baby in our lives,” Spears says.

“I know that many would despise me, but I committed to not having the child. I’m not sure if that was the best course of action. Had it been solely up to me, I never would have taken that action. Despite this, Justin was adamant that he didn’t want to have children.

When the vocalist of “…Baby One More Time” was eighteen or nineteen years old, the couple ended the pregnancy in late 2000.

“One of the most agonizing things” she has ever encountered, according to her writing, was the operation.

The representative for Timberlake did not reply to a message from Page Six.

But prior to the book’s publication, insiders exclusively revealed to Page Six that the 42-year-old member of *NSYNC had been “concerned” about what the 41-year-old Spears might divulge about their relationship.

One insider claimed on Monday that “it’s eating at him,” while another maintained that the reveal was “not a takedown” of any specific person.

When they were still teenagers in 1999, the former Mouseketeers began dating.

In a memorable interview with Barbara Walters following their public split in 2002, Timberlake hinted that Spears had cheated on him; the “Toxic” singer did not refute or confirm this at the time.

A delayed apology was made by Timberlake to his ex-girlfriend after the media’s treatment of the music icon was closely examined in the Emmy-nominated 2021 New York Times documentary “Framing Britney Spears.”

He posted on Instagram, saying in part, “I want to take accountability for my own missteps in all of this as well as be a part of a world that uplifts and supports.”
