Michael Charles, also known as OGB Recent, a friend of the late Nigerian Afrobeats sensation Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, also known as Mohbad, has revealed that the late singer is Liam’s father based on DNA testing that was done to determine Liam’s paternity.
A skitmaker shared the news on Wednesday, OGB Recent, via his X, a former Twitter name. He said that the outcome finally puts an end to rumors that the child belonged to someone else.
In the past month, the 27-year-old Mohbad’s death has generated a lot of controversy. One of the main points of contention surrounding his passing was the claim that his child truly belonged to music promoter Sam Larry.

Prominent activist, VeryDarkBlackMan, and writer Kemi Olunloyo initiated the discussion on Mohbad’s wife Omowunmi’s DNA test, among others.
OGB Recent, who had the name “Imole” inked on his elbow, revealed the most recent development, writing, “DNA test confirms Mohbad is the father of his son IMOLE.”
Several well-known personalities on X, such as Mbah, BOD, Pooja, and others, have attested to Mohbad’s paternity for Liam.
