Sometimes I Wish To Die – Ghanaian Kidney Patient Shares Sad Story

A Ghanaian lady with kidney failure disease has shared a sad story about her extraneous living condition.

The unidentified lady disclosed that managing the illness is difficult because the cost of treatment is expensive.

According to her, there are a number of consumables for Kindney patients but they’re unable to go for it because they’re expensive and have recently been taxed.

She revealed people are dying frequently lately because they cannot afford to go through dialysis as expected.

According to her, due to the cost involved in managing kidney disease, she sometimes wishes God would end it all for her.

She went on pleading with the government to remove the taxes on treatment or schedule it under the NHIS scheme to make it free.

Meanwhile, the government recently increased the cost of dialysis from GHc 380 to GHc 765 after huge taxes were placed on it.
