A slew of Ghanaian celebrities are making themselves available for day 2 of the ongoing Occupy Julorbi House protest.
The protests, which started Thursday, September 21st 2023 – Nkrumah’s birthday – are expected to run till Saturday.
The Occupy Julor Bi house protest was organised by the Fix the Country movement to protest the high cost of living and other ills in the country.
The protest turned bloody during its first day as the police forcibly attempted to break it up.
This led to ordinary Ghanaians being arrested for no crime and even led to some brutality being inflicted on journalists including Metro TV’s Bridget Otoo.
Nevertheless, the protest is continuing today and some celebrities have indicated they would attend – others are already on site.
Rapper Elorm Adablah, professionally known as E.L, is one of the celebrities in attendance, as well as perennial campaigner Efia Odo.
Also showing up is comic actor and content creator SKDele.
Rapper Kwaw Kese has also indicated he would be present at the event, as has Wanlov the Kubolor.
