Young rising superstar Black Sherif has called out his elders in the game such as Sarkodie, Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale to stand up in solidarity with the young people protesting the current government.
Blacko sent out a fiery tweet on X calling for the Big Four of Ghana music – the so-called 4 ‘S’ – Stonebwoy, Sarkodie, Samini and Shatta Wale – to join the revolution.
Black Sherif said their fans are in need of them right now and this is the tiee for them to stand up and be counted.
The young rapper tweeted: “Sarkodie, Shatta Wale, Stonebwoy, and Samini be wanna leaders for the industry, together you can make a big difference in our country. Your fans have your back, it’s time to have theirs. Our country needs change!!!🙏 #OccupyJulorbiHouse #OCCUPYJULORBIJOUSE,”
His message comes as Ghanaian flood the streets to protest high cost of living, corruption, mismanagement and over-taxation under the government of the NPP.
During the first day of the protests dubbed the #OccupyJulorbiHouse, protestors were arrested by police with some brutalised.
Nevertheless, a second day is being held and Black Sherif has called for the ‘4 S’ to physically support the protests rather than sitting behind their phones and tweeting!
