Game of Thrones alum Sophie Turner, popularly known for playing Sansa Stark on the HBO drama, has sued her ex-husband Joe Jonas for unlawful retainment of their kids.

Turner, in a suit filed in Manhattan, argues Jonas essentially kidnapped their two kids and sent them back to the U.S. when they’d agreed the family will now be settled in the U.K.

Sophie is praying the court to order her ex to return the kids to her care in the U.K.

After four years of marriage, the union between the actress and Jonas brothers star Joe broke down when he abruptly filed for divorce.

During that period, Joe had custody of the kids as Sophie was filming a new show and had little time to spare with the kids.

In her legal documents, she claims the ‘unlawful retention’ of her kids began on September 20th when they were supposed to be returned to her.

She claims her father has seized the kids passports and isn’t allowing them to return to England to be with her.

“The Father has possession of the children’s passports,” the documents claim. “He refuses to return the passports to the Mother and refuses to send the children home to England with the Mother.”

Sophie Turner plans to to file a similar lawsuit in the UK where her case would allegedly be a “breach” of her custody rights, Page Six reports.
