You’ll Go Down In History As The Worst President In Ghana – Prophet Oduro Tells Nana Addo

The nation’s present economic woes have been attributed to President Nana Akufo-Addo by controversial Ghanaian preacher Prophet Kofi Oduro.

On Sunday, September 3, at a church service, the founder of Alabaster International Ministries said that President Akufo-Addo would go down in history as the worst leader of the Fourth Republic.

Prophet Kofi Oduro voiced his worries, pointing out that Ghana has had difficulties since President Akufo-Addo assumed office on January 7, 2017. He made it clear that only divine intervention would be necessary to properly address the nation’s economic problems, and that the President could not solve them on his own.

I want to tell my president that your expertise cannot fix this problem. From now until December 7, Your Excellency, you will go down in history as the worst president in the Fourth Republic. It has been six and a half years of pain and agony, six and a half years of bleeding and bloodshed. We need help,” he passionately stated.

Since 2022, Ghana has been facing a severe economic crisis, which the government has attributed to the COVID-19 epidemic and the conflict between Russia and Ukraine. Due to the circumstances, January 2023 saw a record-high year-over-year inflation rate of 54.1%, with food inflation skyrocketing to 59.7% and transportation expenses reaching 71.4%. The government started a domestic debt swap program as a requirement of the $3 billion IMF bailout program it engaged into to solve the situation.

The opinions of all stakeholders, including religious leaders like Prophet Kofi Oduro, are still very important in the ongoing conversation about Ghana’s economic future as the country struggles with these difficulties.

Pray for Ghana that it remains united in peace and continues to thrive for progress and prosperity. I continue to abide in faith in the Almighty God to help advance the fortunes of our nation, accompanied by appropriate policies, determination, and hard work on our part,” President Akufo-Addo conveyed to the congregants in Kyebi.
