Your Event Organisers Spend to Organise A Show But Don’t Want to Pay for Promotion – Naana Donkor Slams Gh Artists Complaining About Ghanaians Not Attending their Shows Abroad

Ghanaian content creator based in the United States, Naana Donkor Arthur popularly known as NDA, has exploded on Ghanaian promoters who organise shows in the U.S.

Donkor went ballistic on Instagram after a few interviews from Ghanaian artists in recent weeks complaining that Ghanaians abroad do not attend their shows.

Comments from Guru NKZ, Fameye and others all sought to blame Ghanaians abroad for the failures of Ghanaian musicians to become global stars.

According to the artists, they try their best to perform overseas but when they travel Ghanaians simply refuses to attend their shows.

Reacting to Fameye’s claim, NDA said the problem isn’t with Ghanaians abroad but the fact that promoters who organsie these shows do not want to spend to promote them.

According to her, whenever a Ghanaian promoter organises a show abroad, he spends all his money on other priorities and when it comes time to promote the show they expect the abroad-based influencers to just help them out of the goodness of their hearts.

NDA said it is business and the event organisers have to learn to pay people to promote their show otherwise nothing will change.
