A beautiful American lady from Houston identified as Shyanne Medrano has died from an infection from a botched BBL surgery she had in Mexico.
MediaTakeOut reports that Medrano contracted fungal meningitis from contaminated instruments used during the procedure – leading to her eventual and sad death.
The deceased is reportedly a mother – although her number of children are not listed.
MediaTakeOut reports that Shyanna crossed over the border from Texas to the northern border city of Matamoros in Mexico.
Medrano went for a Brazilian butt lift (BBL) and liposuction operation at Clinica-K3, operated by a doctor known as Dr Luis Manuel Rivera De Anda.
According to the website, many American women particularly from border states such as Texas are storming Mexico for the procedure where you could get your body done for as little as $1,000.
Dr Anda in particular is said to be running a promo of full liposuction, a BBL and breast augmentation for $5,000.
During the procedure on Shyanne Medrano, contaminated instruments are believed to have been used which led to her contraction fungal meningitis.
According to the website, “fungal meningitis is a rare, life-threatening fungal infection that causes swelling of the areas around the brain and spinal cord,”
Shyanne is believed to be one of four Texan women to have died from complications from body surgery undertaken in Mexico.
BBL’s are all the rage these days – particular amongst black women – with latest statistics indicating hundreds of black women undergo the procedure – EVERY DAY!
