Per the agreement the couple have struck, Halle Berry is to pay her ex-husband $8,000 a month in child support as well as 4% of all income she makes above $2m.

Aside from this, Halle is to take care of their son Maceo’s financial needs – from his private school tuition and 100 per cent of his extracurricular activities, including soccer.

She’s also to take care of Maceo’s health insurance — both medical and dental — as well as any uninsured expenses –according to TMZ.

In regards to custody, the couple agreed to share custody of the 9-year-old Maceo – Halle will have custody of Maceo Monday to Wednesday and Olivier will get him Wednesday to Friday, with some variations due to school closures.

On weekends, the ex-couple will alternate custody of Maceo.

Legendary actress Halle Berry married Martinez in 2013 and divorced in 2015. The couple signed a pre-nup but there were some issues with it and they’ve been in a legal battle since to hammer out the details of their split.

That has now been finalised and it’s not going to come cheap for Berry!

Halle Maria Berry is an American actress. She began her career as a model and entered several beauty contests, finishing as the first runner-up in the Miss USA pageant and coming in sixth in the Miss World 1986.

Berry established herself as one of the highest-paid actresses in Hollywood during the 2000s.

She won the Academy Award for Best Actress for her performance of a struggling widow in the romantic drama Monster’s Ball (2001), becoming the first African American woman and (for 21 years, the only) woman of color to have won the award.

She took on high-profile roles such as Storm in four installments of the X-Men film series (2000–2014), the henchwoman of a robber in the thriller Swordfish (2001), Bond girl Jinx in Die Another Day (2002), and the title role in the much-derided Catwoman (2004). For the latter, she received US$12.5 million.
