Actress Halle Berry and her husband Olivier Martinez have finalised their divorce – and the actress’ pocketbook is going to bear all the burden going forward.
Per the agreement the couple have struck, Halle Berry is to pay her ex-husband $8,000 a month in child support as well as 4% of all income she makes above $2m.
Aside from this, Halle is to take care of their son Maceo’s financial needs – from his private school tuition and 100 per cent of his extracurricular activities, including soccer.
She’s also to take care of Maceo’s health insurance — both medical and dental — as well as any uninsured expenses –according to TMZ.
In regards to custody, the couple agreed to share custody of the 9-year-old Maceo – Halle will have custody of Maceo Monday to Wednesday and Olivier will get him Wednesday to Friday, with some variations due to school closures.
On weekends, the ex-couple will alternate custody of Maceo.
Legendary actress Halle Berry married Martinez in 2013 and divorced in 2015. The couple signed a pre-nup but there were some issues with it and they’ve been in a legal battle since to hammer out the details of their split.
That has now been finalised and it’s not going to come cheap for Berry!
