Britney Spears reportedly paid for everything whilst married to her ‘struggling actor’ husband Sam Ashgari, only for him to blindside her by filing for divorce.
Sources close to the musician are now speaking up about how their marriage was like following days of the ‘other side’ telling its narrative.
A source who spoke to Page Six revealed that Britney Spears feels betrayed after all she did for her husband, who she helped immensely by taking care of all financial commitments since he is simply a ‘struggling actor’.
According to the source, despite all her sacrifices, Sam was never present as a good spouse, instead spending tons of time away filming to try and get his career off the ground.
“Britney wanted a fairytale and she didn’t get it,” the source said. “She felt that Sam’s love was not unconditional,”

The source noted the singer financially supported and showered Sam with lavish trips but he still was ‘not super present’.
“Of course she feels let down,’ the insider continued. “Anyone would when your partner is not providing for you in the way you feel you need to be provided for.
“She booked great, high-end vacations and paid for everything, they added. “They went everywhere on [a] private jet.”
However, all of Britney’s sacrifices were apparently for nought as Sam was not a present husband.
“He was not super present,’ the source continued.
“You only have to ask — where was he when Britney was filming all her Instagram videos? He would just disappear for months to go filming and she would be left all alone,”
The insider added: “There were times when he would just get up and go.”
Britey’s 29-year-old husband filed for divorce citing “irreconcilable differences” in a petition filed in Los Angeles on Wednesday.
He asked that spousal support and payment of legal fees be paid by Britney Spears.
Ashgari, an Iranian-American actor, model and fitness trainer, met Britney while she was shooting the video for her song Slumber Party in 2016.
The couple got engaged in September 2021 and were married in a small ceremony last June.
Britney Jean Spears is an American singer. Often referred to as the “Princess of Pop”, she is credited with influencing the revival of teen pop during the late 1990s and early 2000s.
This would be her third divorce, having previously split from Kevin Federline and Jason Alexander.
