Ghanaian entertainment critic and media personality, Ola Micheal has condemned the suggestion by the former France Ambassador to Ghana that Ghanaian artists need a diplomatic passport.
Speaking as a guest on the United Showbiz show, Ola Micheal revealed that Shatta Wale was not a morally upright person to deserve a diplomatic passport.
Ola explained that Shatta Wale always used his platforms to insult leaders and engage in all kinds of controversy.
These actions, according to Ola Michael don’t warrant a diplomatic passport. Ola furthered that Shatta Wale was the kind of celebrity who disregards authority and always flaunts the rules and regulations.
” A diplomatic passport is for a classy person. It’s for a celebrity who respects his authority. Someone like Shatta Wale is not sensible. He is always abusing someone on his social media platforms so why would he be given a diplomatic passport? Even if he performs on international stages, his attitude doesn’t warrant him a diplomatic passport.” Ola Micheal disclosed.
