Accra To London By Road: Adventurers Receive Warm Welcome After Safely Arriving In London

A long journey from Ghana’s capital to the UK which began with 13 Ghanaians, including twelve males and one lady has finally come to a fruitful end.

According to several reports, the company of thirteen has safely arrived in Ghana after spending hours on the road. The main goal of the group was to drive from Accra to London while enjoying the experience, therefore the voyage will span an astounding 10,000 kilometers.

It was a historic achievement for the team when they finally reached London on Sunday, August 6, 2023. They were received by a group of London-based Ghanaians who were amazed by their strength and adventurous spirit.

Speaking from Spain in an interview on Accra-based Peace FM, before the trip, one of the team members known as Saka, shared their motivation for embarking on the bold trip.

He explained that they were inspired by stories of people traveling from foreign countries to Ghana and other African nations.

“We are explorers and we are doing this for fun. We read about people driving from Europe to Ghana all the time, and we also planned to do it and we are almost there,” one of the explorers said.
