Beautiful Daughter of Bekwai MCE Murdered Under Mysterious Circumstances

The daughter of the Municipal Chief Executive for Bekwai has been murdered in mysterious circumstances that has left even the police confused.

Akua Serwaa, the 30 year old daughter of Bekwai MCE Hon Kwaku Kyei Baffour, was found murdered in her home at Atwima Bebu in the Ashanti Region by her husband on Thursday, August 3rd 2023.

Initial reports claimed she was shot dead by assailants during a robbery.

According to the deceased’s husband, he returned home at about 5:30pm on 3rd August 2023 and found her lying unconscious at the back of their house and rushed her to the hospital but she was pronounced dead on arrival at the hospital. He further alleged that their living room and bedroom were ransacked and a television set stolen.

This is where things get strange. The initial assessment of the incident scene by the Police Crime Scene team revealed that no doors or windows in the house had been broken into.

Also, upon an inspection of the deceased body at the hospital, no marks of violence or gunshot wound were found.

Investigations continue into the murder whilst the body has been deposited at the Bekwai Municpal Hospital morgue pending autopsy.
