My International Gigs Pay Me More Than Gigs From Funerals And Wedding – Empress Gifty Claims

Ghanaian gospel musician, Empress Gifty has revealed why she prefers doing shows abroad than in Ghana.

Empress Gifty who was a guest on the United Showbiz show hosted by MzGee, explained that the money she makes from doing shows abroad is more than the money she makes from local shows.

According to her, the money she earns from performing at funerals, weddings and other events in Ghana is peanuts compared to what she makes on average in Ghana.

Empress Gifty also revealed to MzGee that she is the only Gospel artist in Ghana who spends a lot of money on her craft.

She reiterated that, as a solo artist with no producer or manager, she makes handles everything regarding her craft.

Empress furthered that whenever she has to produce a music video, she spends a lot of money on locations, costume, props, set design among other things. This is to ensure that she produces the best results for all her music videos.
