A 29-year-old Ghanaian nurse known as Portia Owusua Asante who died two weeks after her wedding in July is set to be buried next month.

Portia married Nana Akosah-Brempong Kwaku Fokuo in a beautiful ceremony at the start of July 2023.

Photos of the beautiful ceremony surfaced online but what no one knew was this happiness was to be short-lived.

On July 16th 2023, exactly 14 days or two weeks after her wedding, Portia perished in a ghastly accident.

It’s reported she was returning to work after her honeymoon when disaster struck, taking her life and that of two others.

The sad news shocked the nation.

New reports reveal final funeral rites for Portia are to be held in August.
