Bronny James – Lebron’s Son Suffers Cardiac Arrest Whilst Training

Bronny James, the son of NBA superstar Lebron, suffered a scary cardiac arrest incident whilst training at USC on Monday.

He was reportedly practising at USC – the University of Southern California – on Monday, July 24th 2023 when he suffered the incident.

Bronny James fell unconscious and had to be rushed to hospital in an ambulance.

A James family spokesperson told TMZ Sports … “Yesterday while practicing Bronny James suffered a cardiac arrest. Medical staff was able to treat Bronny and take him to the hospital. He is now in stable condition and no longer in ICU. We ask for respect and privacy for the James family and we will update media when there is more information.”

The spokesperson added, “LeBron and Savannah wish to publicly send their deepest thanks and appreciation to the USC medical and athletic staff for their incredible work and dedication to the safety of their athletes.”

Who Is Bronny James?

Bronny James, 18 years old, is the eldest child of professional basketball player LeBron James.

LeBron Raymone “Bronny” James Jr. was born on October 6, 2004 to LeBron James and his girlfriend Savannah Brinson. Lebron was just 19 at the time and Savannah was 18.

James played several sports including basketball and soccer as a child but his father did not allow him to play football or ice hockey because of safety concerns.

He has gone on to enter basketball just like his father and had committed to play college basketball at USC.

His father currently lives in California, playing for the Los Angeles Lakers.

Bronny James has established a large social media following since high school.

In May 2019, he started an Instagram account and reached one million followers in his first day on the platform. By the end of high school, James had over seven million followers on Instagram

In July 2023, Bronny collapsed whilst undergoing a workout at USC.

He was taken by ambulance from USC’s Galen Center, the venue where the school’s basketball team plays and practices after a 911 call reportedly was made at 9.26 am Monday.

Bronny is now reportedly fine, in stable condition and out of the ICU.
