Ghanaian media personality, Mona Gucci has alleged that some prison officers at the Nsawam prison have been using the inmates to smuggle drugs into the prison.
According to her, she has received several reports where these prison officers use the inmates to enrich their pockets.

Mona Gucci disclosed this during her recent show. She also alleged that some of the prisoners who were arrested for petty crimes start smoking weed and hard drugs as soon as they finish their sentence.
She called on various stakeholders to come to the aid of these inmates before things escalate for the worst.
