An unidentified woman who supposedly admitted to being a witch after changing from a bird to a person has disclosed the cost of the overnight procedure.

She reportedly claimed to a group of prayer warriors that approached her shortly after midnight that she had been sent by the major deity from New Winneba to the specific home where prayers were being held to afflict a victim.
At Gomoa Mampong in the Central Region, a prayer warrior who claims to have seen a bird that later changed into a lady first described the incident to the media. He also described how he and other prayer warriors assaulted the intruder.

The unnamed prayer warrior, in an interview with Metro TV (July 17) said of the cost of the operation: “She confessed that she was sent by the big deity in Winneba and I asked her mission.

According to reports, Nana Antwi, a sub-chief of the region, asked the community members not to touch the girl while he summoned the police to the scene to handle the matter.

Since then, the case of the allegedly 30-year-old bird-turned-woman has been forwarded to the Gomoa Okyereko branch of the Ghana Police Service.

“She said she had been contracted to the tune of 50 cedis to come and afflict the life of the victim who lived in the house.”
