Six years after her husband’s passing, Barbara Mahama, the late Major Mahama’s wife, has made the decision to come out of the shadows in a self-written memoir aptly named “RESILIENCE: Reflections from a Widow’s Diary.”

The Major Mahama Story is a well-known incident that took place in Denkyira Obuasi in 2017.

A tragic occurrence occurred in which a brave and daring young soldier who was trying to protect the populace was cruelly attacked by a mob and killed.
