I Would Have Put My Career On Hold If My Mother Had Not Intervened – Nadia Buari Reveals Why

Multiple Award-winning Ghanaian actress, Nadia Buari has revealed how her mother helped her propel in her career as an actress.

Speaking in a recent interview on Citi TV’s morning show, Breakfast Daily, the 37-year-old mother of four beautiful girls explained how her mother took care of her kids while she focused on her career.

“My Mum has been a great help…She’s been taking care of the kids while I’m working. If not for her love and support, I would have put my career on hold to take care of my kids”. Nadia revealed.

In late 2005, Buari made its national television debut alongside the show Games People Play. She starred in Beyonce: The President’s Daughter after appearing in Mummy’s Daughter, her first significant film. The “Beyonce” character she played was her big break.

Her TV series performance in Games People Plays in 2005, for which she received a best actress nomination, served as the launch pad for her cinematic career. She has appeared in almost 20 films. The Diary of Imogene Brown, her own film, was released in 2013.
