Boomplay, Africa’s top music streaming and download service, awarded Ghanaian music superstar Stonebwoy the esteemed Golden Club plaque after he exceeded 100 million streams on the service. Stonebwoy’s place among the best performers in the field is cemented by the accomplishment.
To a significant extent, Stonebwoy’s accomplishment may be linked to the popularity of his most recent album, 5th Dimension, which was published in April 2023.

The album has received an incredible 23.5 million streams in total, and some of its singles have been top hits on the Boomplay app for extended periods of time. “Into the Future,” the first track, even peaked at No. 1 on the Boomplay Ghana Charts.
Stonebwoy expressed his appreciation to his devoted followers, referred to as Bhimnation, and praised Boomplay for its dedication to supporting African and Ghanaian musicians as well as its contributions to the African music industry.
