Ghanaian rapper, Sarkodie, has finally broken his silence and replied to Yvonne Nelson after her exposé on him in her book.

Yvonne claimed she got pregnant whilst dating Sarkodie over a decade ago, he asked her to abort it then after driving her to the abortion clinic, he left and never reached back to her.

The revelation, made in Yvonne Nelson’s memoir ‘I Am Not Yvonne Nelson’, stunned Ghanaians and started a firestorm of controversy. It also catapulted Yvonne’s book to the top of every conversation around the country and inarguably boosted sales.

After days of silence, Sarkodie has finally broken his silence to tell his side of the story.

Being a musician, Sarkodie chose rap for his reply.

According to him, she is lying to Ghanaians to boost sales of her book because she was the one who said she was in school and hence cannot keep a child.

Sarkodie said she’s the one who said she has a friend who knew an abortion clinic and suggested they go there.

According to Sark, he doesn’t truly even believe she was pregnant because when he asked to have his own doctor check her she declined.
