Popular Kumawood actor Kwaku Manu founded a school in Santasi-Kumasi as part of his effort to give back to the community, but he has regrettably shut it down.
The Santasi residents began removing their children from the school as soon as they learned that the actor had taken his children to the United States of America, the actor revealed, explaining what ultimately led him to close down Kwaku Manu Educational Complex.
Kwaku Manu explained in a video posted by YouTube user Hello Frank that he had taken his kids on a trip abroad, but what happened next stunned him.

According to Kwaku Manu, the huge student withdrawal had a considerable influence on both the enrollment and overall operation of the school.
Kwaku Manu claims that he delayed bringing his children back to Ghana at the time because he wanted them to remain in America and experience American culture until it was appropriate for them to return.
They claim the school fees they were paying were what allowed me to take my children to school, and as I speak, some of these parents owe me three terms, and the school fees were 100 cedis and 50 cedis.”
I took my children to the United States six to seven years ago, and when I went back to Ghana, about 20 to 22 parents had taken their children out of my school,” the actor said.
