Ghanaian artist Camidoh made his red carpet debut at the BET Awards over the weekend but ended up getting dragged over his look to the show.
Eager to make an impression, Camidoh showed up in quite the ensemble – an all-red look draped over with a fur coat.
The look would have gotten him quite a few stares at the show, considering the northern hemisphere summer is in full swing. We might be in the rainy season down here in Ghana and battling some cold but it’s full-blown summer out in yankee.

Ghanaians weren’t amused with Camidoh’s choice of dress and let him hear it!
One fan said: “Beautiful 😻 but its summer 😢why the fur coat 🧥 😬😬😬”
Another said: “Congrats on your nomination. But wearing this in LA is a No no in a 90 degrees weather why @camidoh we are in summer. Ah”
Some even bashed the ‘Sugarcane’ crooner for failing to make a fashion statement for Ghana and instead choosing a generic foreign look.

Either way, the night didn’t end any better for Camidoh – he failed to win his award category!
