As she used her official Twitter page to give advice to young females, prominent celebrity and social media personality Florence Otedola, also known as DJ Cuppy, received a number of replies and comments from the general public.
She believed that they should be the woman with it all—beauty, wealth, intelligence—the successful, independent woman that the girls couldn’t touch and the men couldn’t mess with.
The public responded to this in a variety of ways, as everyone was shocked and moved by DJ Cuppy’s statement.

Cuppy served as the on-site DJ for the MTV Africa Music Awards in Durban in 2014.The Tatler and Christie’s Art Ball in London followed, followed by the Financial Times Business of Luxury Summit in Mexico City, where she performed.
She debuted House of Cuppy, her first compilation mix, in London and Lagos in July 2014 before releasing it in New York City on September 2. She created EDM-inspired remixes of songs by prominent afropop musicians under the name House of Cuppy.
Red Velvet Music Group, a music management and content production company based in London, was also established by Cuppy in the same year.
