Rapper Medikal addressed his history with Michy in a recent interview at the launch of Yvonne Nelson’s book, expressing his wish for reconciliation and offering an apology if he unintentionally hurt her.
The argument started after Medikal made a comment about Michy’s baby daddy’s responsible parenting. But Medikal made it clear that he has nothing against Michy and that he hopes the best for her.
“I have never spoken about this anywhere but I just want to say I wish her all the best. She should find peace and I don’t think Shatta hates her or anything and if my friendship with Shatta is a problem to her, she should rub that off her mind because I don’t have anything against her. There is no bad blood and that was my first time seeing her and I was surprised when she came at me,” he said.
Medikal encouraged Michy to calm down and reassured her that his friendship with Shatta Wale shouldn’t be a reason for fear during the interview with Doreen Avio.
Since it was their first encounter, he emphasized that there is no animosity between them and expressed surprise at Michy’s response.
Medikal expressed his true wish for Michy’s happiness and the welfare of their son in an open communication to her, apologizing for any fault on his part.
“So Michy if you’re watching me, if I did something to you and I do not know, I am very sorry, I want you to be happy, take care of your son. You all should be happy.”
