Twerking is supported wholeheartedly by Ghanaian actress and social media influencer Rosemary Brown, aka Akuapem Poloo, who emphasizes that she sees nothing wrong with it.
She made this remark after being captured on camera twerking and moving her body to celebrate her birthday.
The actress, who converted to Islam and is now a Christian, said in a recent interview for Joy Prime’s Prime Morning program that twerking is a form of expressing joy.
She emphasizes that twerking is a form of dancing and draws comparisons to King David, who once danced until his garments came off.
”Oh you see; I don’t see anything wrong with twerking. When you are happy you do many things and twerking is part of dancing.”
Meanwhile, Akuapem Poloo blames some ladies for what she sees as cheap sex.
According to her, “Now some of the Ghanaian guys, immediately they have sex with you, they won’t even support you again, they think they’ve gotten what they want, they’ll shower you with everything just to have sex with you and leave you afterward,” She said on Tuesday, May 6.
Speaking on Joy Prime, the socialite further stated that “most of the Ghanaian girls to have made sex cheap”.

The 34-year-old mother added that she is currently not engaged in any sexual activity with her partner since she converted to Islam. Poloo said her heartfelt desire is to have another child but she does not want to do that out of wedlock.
