The look-alike of King Promise who has been dubbed the leader of the “Four Kings,” which also includes the likenesses of Kuami Eugene, Mr. Drew, and Medikal, appeared surprised when the police stormed his home in the viral video.
He begged for forgiveness as they shackled his hands and yanked him up by his shorts. In the lengthy, barely audible conversation, he asked the cops what he had done.
The video, which was shared on Twitter by popular blogger Sika Official, captured the moment the look-alike was apprehended at an unknown location.
Other than the fact that he was handcuffed by two officers in uniform, the reason for the arrest remains unknown.
In an attempt to defend himself, the look-alike can be heard pleading, “Oh, sir, we are live ooo. We didn’t insult anyone. We are playing. We didn’t insult anyone.”
Notably, Medikal’s impersonator can be heard asking Mr. Drew’s impersonator to phone someone they referred as “the director” in the background.
This proposal prompted Mr. Drew’s lookalike to pick up his phone and make a call.
A gang of people who remarkably resemble well-known Ghanaian musicians like Kuami Eugene, Mr. Drew, Medikal, and King Promise first appeared on social media sites earlier this year.
These people attracted thousands of fans and admirers as they quickly rose to fame and prominence.
They started releasing content in which they were styled and costumed like the singers they most closely resembled, frequently lip-syncing or imitating the acts of their favorite artists.
The lookalike of King Promise was shown in the video relaxing on a couch while being lit by a ring lamp during a live TikTok broadcast before being handcuffed.
