Ghana’s favorite rapper, Sarkodie announced the cancellation of his JAMZ tour in Europe over low patronage.
In the same vein, songbird Gyakie also canceled her shows in the UK and Paris as a result of health-related issues.
UK-based event and music promoter, Alordia has disclosed that the real reason behind the cancellation of these shows was due to low patronage.

Speaking in a Twitter space with Joy Entertainment’s Kwame Dadzie, Alordia disclosed that the promoters who are organizing these tours for the said artists have less or no knowledge about the Ghanaian community abroad.
He added that most of these artists refuse to contact experts like himself to help them promote their shows for them. As a result, they end up getting low patronage for their shows.
He added that artists from Ghana will keep getting low ticket sales if they don’t consult experts to handle their promotions.

Reacting to this, some people bashed the artists for abandoning their local fans and concentrating on their fans abroad.
One fan even said instead of building a solid fan base in Ghana to promote their craft, they waste their resources and energy on an imaginary audience abroad.
