Social media users have descended on Shatta Wale after he gifted a friend $100,000 as a birthday gift.

Wale’s friend, businessman Prince Richgame, celebrated his birthday in an event held over the weekend.

Aside Shatta Wale, other top-tier stars such as Tinny, Jupitar and Medikal were present.

At a point during the program, Wale presented the birthday boy with a $100,000 cheque.

A photo of the cheque surfaced on social media and Shatta Wale was immediately called out for being fake.

Netizens noted the cheque was to a cedi account yet it was being claimed Wale dashed out $100,000. Others pointed out his name appears nowhere on the cheque!

One fan said that after Hajia 4 Real’s arrest, no celebrity can buy pressure for anyone with their fake and fraudulent acts anymore.
