Ghanaian Woman Gruesomely Murdered By A Nigerian Man During A Cash Point Robbery

Gideon Vitallis, a Nigerian has found himself at the wrong side of the law after he murdered Patience Ago Quaye during a Cash Point robbery at Twumasiwaa Memorial Clinic in Accra, Ghana.

Patience Ago Quaye, a Cash Point Operator at Twumasiwaa Memorial Clinic did not return home after her night shift on the 6th of March, 2023.

Her family after several attempts to reach her to no avail reported the issue to the Police.

The Police together with Patience’s family found her lifeless body in the store room of the Clinic after a search was conducted.

Further investigations by the police revealed the that;

24- year- old Godwin used to work at the Clinic as a Storekeeper but was sacked in 2021.

He at the night of 6th March, 2023 sneaked into the Clinic in hope of robbing the cash point.

Mr Vitallis met Patience at the cash point and confronted her. She reportedly hit her head and died after he struggled with her for a key to the cash point.

Godwin later hid the dead body in the store room of the Clinic but took possession of Patience’s mobile phone.

The suspect with the help of his victim’s phone sent a message that, Patience had been kidnapped. He demanded the sum of GH¢20,000.00 as a ransom to be paid in 24 hours.

Operatives of the National Intelligence Bereau traced the Kidnapping twist and arrested Godwin at the Koforidua Central Market.

The suspect is alleged to be part of a syndicate brought to Ghana to engage in internet fraud.
