American rapper Chance the rapper represented Ghana the motherland in a new freestyle as he rapped a few lines in Twi.
Chance also found space to give a shoutout to two Ghanaian townships – Osu and Kumasi.
The American rapper dropped a new dope freestyle that’s making waves due to the homage he paid to Ghana.
Chance whilst rapping inserted some twi words whilst also hailing the two townships.
“Akwaaba medaase, that’s the end of my speech. Tell them to spread the word from Osu to Kumasi,” he rapped.
Chance also paid homage to three of Africa’s greatest leaders in his next line, Dr Kwame Nkrumah of Ghana, Dr Nnamdi Azikiwe of Nigeria and the great Empreror Haillie Selassie of Etiopia.
“This for Dr Kwame, Selassie and Nnamdi,” he rapped.

Chance the Rapper spent the last holiday season in Ghana with Ghanaian-American rapper Vic Mensa as they organised the Black Star Line festival together.
That appears to have installed deep love for Ghana in him.
